Storage and Packing Tips
- Create a walkway or aisle in your unit amongst your
belongings to allow easier access and provide better air
circulation in your unit.
- Store heavier and less-used items in boxes on the bottom of
a stack or further at the back of your unit.
- Take advantage of the extra height of our units to stack
some items (ex. couches and mattresses) vertically; many
furniture items also disassemble for easier storage.
- Leave appliance doors ajar to prevent mildew and don't
forget to take advantage of the interior space in them for extra
storage.
- Label all boxes clearly and ensure you can see the labels.
Keep a separate list of your boxes and their contents so you
always what you have in your unit. Make a small map of your unit
to help you locate items most efficiently.
- Store pictures and mirrors on end.
- Lawn mowers - be sure to empty gas and oil from these and
other small machines.
We are not equipped to store the following items and they are
prohibited on our premises:
- Any food items or items which may attract pests.
- Any item which may be hazardous in nature, ex. gasoline,
paint, cleaners, solvents.
Please refer to our rental agreement for more details. Our staff
is always available to answer any questions you may have about
