Storage and Packing Tips

• Create a walkway or aisle in your unit amongst your belongings to allow easier access and provide better air circulation in your unit.
• Store heavier and less-used items in boxes on the bottom of a stack or further at the back of your unit.
• Take advantage of the extra height of our units to stack some items (ex. couches and mattresses) vertically; many furniture items also disassemble for easier storage.
• Leave appliance doors ajar to prevent mildew and don't forget to take advantage of the interior space in them for extra storage.
• Label all boxes clearly and ensure you can see the labels. Keep a separate list of your boxes and their contents so you always what you have in your unit. Make a small map of your unit to help you locate items most efficiently.
• Store pictures and mirrors on end.
• Lawn mowers - be sure to empty gas and oil from these and other small machines.

We are not equipped to store the following items and they are prohibited on our premises:

• Any food items or items which may attract pests.
• Any item which may be hazardous in nature, ex. gasoline, paint, cleaners, solvents.
