Q: Is there a minimum period of storage?
A: Yes, there is an initial minimum storage period of four weeks. We operate on a four week billing cycle. After this initial four weeks, you may be reimbursed for weeks not used.

Q: What payment options are there?
A: For your convenience, we are pleased to offer VISA, MasterCard, debit, pre-authorized payment plans, cheques, and cash.

Q: Do you have climate controlled units?
A: We have air-conditioned and heated units in various sizes.

Q: Does Climate-Controlled mean Air-Conditioned?
A: At Appleby Self-Storage, the answer is yes! Most other self-storage facilities, however, may advertise as climate-controlled but will only be equipped with heating (no air conditioning!). Make sure when you choose a unit this summer that the unit is air conditioned. Be assured that all of Appleby Self Storage's climate-controlled units are air conditioned!

Q: Does anyone else have access to my unit?
A: No. Your lock at Appleby Self Storage is yours and only you have the key. Nobody, including Appleby Self Storage staff, has access to your unit.

Q: When can I access my unit?
A: You may access your unit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - entirely at your convenience.

Q: How do I know how much storage space I will need?
A: Click on our Storage Estimator to estimate how much space you will need. Our storage specialists on site would be pleased to assist you with this. Give us a call or come by and see for yourself.

Q: Do you provide insurance?
A: Yes. Tenant insurance is offered. Check with your existing homeowner's policy to see what coverage you currently have. We do strongly recommend purchasing an additional plan if your homeowner's policy is not adequate.

Q: How do I know my belongings are safe?
A: You pack your own unit, lock it, and are the only one with control of the key. Our facility provides many added security features to help protect your belongings, such as computerized gate access, individually alarmed units, and video surveillance. Take a look at our features section.
